The collection -- The One Where They Wore Ralph Lauren, features workwear looks inspired by the wardrobe of Anistons alter ego Rachel.There are also animal print coasts and suede boots, a subtle homage to 1990s fashion.Lauren and Friends is the first collaboration from a major fashion designer to mark the 25th anniversary. Both sets will later travel to other Bloomingdales locations across the country. A section of the store has been transformed into the coffee shop where shoppers will get the ultimate fan experience.

Turning to nature to seek inspiration, designer Anita Dongre presented a sustainable collection using organic cotton and hand-woven silk titled ‘Earth Song’. "My line is inspired by the forest. The whole idea was to make the audience connect with nature while watching the show.

The show transported the audience to a world where falling leaves dotted the earth in autumn, and the smell of fresh pine evoked memories of time gone by. Somewhere in the fast moving urban life, we have forgotten to listen to nature. She adds, "From the rich colours and the layering, to the motifs and glimpses of gold and even the contracting elements of jacquard and sheer fabrics — all are reflected in this collection. There is a reason we call the earth, ‘mother’ earth. It’s all around us, and its magnitude is so awe-inspiring that it is tough for any designer to not create a collection themed around nature, at least, once in his/her career.
